Argan Oil is produced starting from the green almonds of the fruit of the Argan tree, which grows only, in the arid and semi-arid regions of south-west of Morocco where it occupies a surface of 28.000 hectares.
The oil distributed is by the Tourza company, working with a co-operative of women from Takoucht. This company was created by Moroccan women to provide help to other women often alone and in difficulty.
