The cosmetics industry doesn’t really seem to take skin care
for men very seriously, although that shouldn’t come as a surprise because it has always been the case. For men skin care has generally consisted of nothing but alcohol laden after shave formulas that dry out and aggravate already inflamed skin. This is not exactly what I would call superior skin care, but that is what we seem to be stuck with.
Although the cosmetics companies have significantly increased the number of products they have for skin care for men the quality of those products really hasn’t improved very much. The formulas that are now being provided continue to feature compounds detrimental to the skin, and many of these components could even prove to be harmful to your health.
